6. No criminal record within the previous five years.

The educational requirements to enter Guangzhou have also been relaxed. Before July 2022, entry applicants with the correct educational requirements needed to have continuous six-month social security payments in Guangzhou. This is no longer necessary, as one-month participation in the social security scheme will suffice.

To enter Guangzhou based on professional qualifications (or "考證入戶"), one should have at least a mid-level professional certificate (with a systems integration certificate) and be under the age of 40, with six months of social security contributions in Guangzhou. A high-level professional certification (with an information project management certificate) requires applicants to be under 50 years of age and have social security contributions within the application period.

Finally, the Guangzhou skill-based entry policy is appropriate for those with skill certificates who work in related industries. Provided that one meets the following conditions - engaged in relevant occupations listed in the catalog of technical and skilled personnel introduced into Guangzhou, holding a certificate or passing an assessment, working in the city for at least six months and paying social insurance contributions- entry into Guangzhou is relatively easy.
